Calabrians are "normal" compared to their southerner neighbors, who are almost AJs genetically.

But I've seen some Sicilians who were closer to other Italians than Calabrians, at least in some plots.

Finns by far. I take it by diversity you mean genetic distance within one ethnic group. Computing .GENO files of Southwestern Finns and Northeastern Finns produces distances unseen elsewhere in Europe. Compressing .GENO files to G25/Gedmatch narrows down their entire genetic polymorphism to a selected set of admixture references and that distance shrinks greatly, below that of Italians, Germans and Frenchmen.

I thought Fins are one of the most homogenous people??! Far more than Germans in each case.
