Of course. A Greek would assimilate much easier into Italian or Spanish society than he would in Britain or Germany, that much is clear.

I will just add that in my own country, the so-called White Australia Policy from Federation in 1901 to WW2 was in fact more of a British Australia Policy, giving explicit favour to migrants from the UK (which carried on into the 60s with 'ten pound poms' like my grandparents). Then after WW2 and the percieved dangers of an underpopulated Australia vs the Yellow Peril, continental Northern European immigration was encouraged, then Southern European immigration in the 50s and 60s. Then with the policy of Multiculturalism in the 70s the floodgates to Asia opened with the Vietnamese refugees. Now we have African immigration (Sudanese and Somalians) since the late 90s and the Asians suddenly don't seem so bad to many people. Although Middle Eastern Muslims despite being racially closer than Orientals are more unpopular. Probably Europeans would be far more amenable to Middle Easterners if they weren't overwhelmingly of that accursed creed.

Btw, it's both, at least in Germany, immigration is due to the mentioned differences (plus more), but also to the aging population. We are lacking carers for the elderly in large numbers and would be indeed ill off without non-native carers meanwhile and more in the future.

Germany would not collapse without migrants for sure. But if we need more workers then we can bring temporary guest workers, they would live in Germany for few years without citizenship, voting rights etc and after that go home.
What you see around yourself in EU, is a planned population exchange and it has nothing to do with european labour market.

I don't care for your rants, I envision UK are country with British Isles origin people and all other foreigners sent where they come from. It functioned great like that for centuries and achieved great things.

for example, i have brown hair, my skin type is probably 2 and my pigmentation is average for most part of turkey but when i post my picture here some members asking and said to me your pigmentation is like european standart, are u atypical (as pigmentation) etc. (most not but some ask) but in reality i'm not even light for turkey i'm just an average. maybe my hair color is a bit lighter than average (cuz it's not dark brown it's just brown) but that's it. nobody in my country describe me as lighter featured.

Ik what ur saying, I live in Dubai and many ppl here in Dubai Levantines/Turks/ Persians even some Afghans etc and many of them are as light as Europeans. And I’ve never thought they r atypical since many has those features. But whites r clearly don’t like it. And IRL we don’t even like to be associated with Europeans bc we r so proud of our heritage and we r extremely proud of our great ancient civilisations. And we have no problem with Labelling us with brown ppl when in fact dark MEs r more of olive coloured which has nothing to do with real brown colour unless if they r Omani/Yemeni those r obviously brown skinned.

I understand that bc Turks are genetically very diverse they have higher Caucasian+ central Asian input. If someone talks about ME they automatically imagine everyone as Arabs
