I don’t know in which of these two options, life would be better for me if I’d move there permanently. Would have to try both, and then say.
To live temporarily, I’d be more attracted to an exotic place, mostly for the novelty factor.
I’d go with Pacific Islands for a change, though Russia is more varied in landscapes and climates, and with overall closer culture. I’d like to live in somewhere like New Caledonia, etc.
Though, not sure I’d 100% enjoy the climate on a Pacific island, especially in the rainy season and because of the typhoons. But, having an annual mean temperature of 22-24 degrees Celsius is not bad to me. And, I would not miss the snow.
In New Caledonia, they speak French and EU citizens are exempt for needing a visa. Most inhabitants are Christian and it's relatively safe of crimes. One inconvenience, is that I’m used to living on the continent. Being on a Pacific island or in an archipelago, even if it’s larger, feels a bit isolated.

Russia
The new blasphemy laws are the best I know in any christian country and should be a rolemodel for other orthodox nations, sadly Greece as NATO cucks go the complete opposite path.

The Pacific islands “if i owned a 60’+ yacht “. The ocean is freedom. Never Russia. I have no interest in becoming some imperialist’s cattle.
Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

I would prefer Russia. We could escape the USSA and live in a *saner* country where the admittedly authoritarian and autocratic rulers don't literally worship degenerates who target grade school students in the name of muh diversity, which I hate with the heat of a million suns.

Russia. I hate living isolated in an island, and let alone in very remote islands in the Pacific, far from everything.
The only thing is that if I lived in Russia, I would prefer to live somewhere in southern Russia (like in Volgograd) where winters are not that harsh compared to winters in central and northern Russia.
