That's because ancient Greeks kept re-using the same nomeclature.

The Iberians in Caucasus didn't actually call themselves that, it's an exonym.

We are Slavic people with Roman admixture.
Sarmatians were rich in R1a-Z93. On the other hand among several thoudands of tested Serbs there is only 2-3 individuals which are R1a-Z93. 99% of Serbian R1a are Slavic branches. Interesting few R1a-Z93 Serbs are all from Kosovo. Their paternal lines should be indigenous (Dardanian or Thracian). Presence of R1a-Z93 among Thracians is archeogenetically proven. Luka Dončić is R1a-Z93, his father is Kosovo Serb origin.

I think it´s the same here, Iberian is just because the Iber (Ebro) river, so they called all those who were here Iberians. i don´t think Iberian called themselves Iberian,

There are several rivers at the same level as the Ebro River on the peninsula, but it was the first that Greeks and Romans and others knew.

Probably explains why so many Croats and Serbs look brown, what do you think ? Could this be the proto-Croat and Proto-Serboi Iranian look ?
