A día de hoy, fuentes de la Asociación Cristobal Colón Gallego consultadas por este diario afirman que los restos fueron enviados a un laboratorio localizado en Tejas (Estados Unidos), cuyo nombre no se especifica por desconocimiento del mismo. Además, también fueron enviados a un laboratorio en Florencia (Italia), también desconocido, sin que, de momento, se esté dando ningún resultado.

Because Colón, not Colombus, being genovese seem to be fake. He could was born in nowadays Italia (or also in many other southern european places), but it is dificult to believe that he is the same man that genovese people claim. I think that he was more castilian than genovese, because he always wrote in castilian and not in genovese or " italian" even whe he was in Portugal before arriving to Castilla.

I have not any problem with that, it´s documentary the most accepted, but it is also true that there is a lot of divergence about his real ancestry, and it is not a Spanish thing.

Now is the time for the rest of the nations claiming Columbus' birthplace to protest and demand the results; if only for the sake of dignity.
