This is usually a feminist argument, it was always used by feminist concerning porn and prostitution, eg blaming men and dismissing any resonsibility of of the women who chose the professions and often dismissing the womens role by describing them as some sort of victims.
I definitely agree that trafficked women and perhaps women from very poor societies where there is little other options can be described as victims.
However such women don't represent all women whom willingly go into the sex industry of their own volition and choice.
