Would you be upset if someone found your real name which was associated with your alias and contacted you on LinkedIn InMail regarding an anthropological question? Last Wednesday I sent a likely banned member on Anthrogenica Refugium discord server a question relating to his personal observations disagreeing with studies with respect to Samaritan pigmentation via LinkedIn InMail.

He just sent me 7 messages, much more than I expected. I think he could be angry at me for violating what are perceived as commonly accepted boundaries. He is from Israel so I might have to ask Florstadt for clarification if I should be concerned.

You should delete his photo. You don't know who lurks here.

I would be extremely angry if I got a message from a forum poster on some platform like LinkedIn. I don't believe people should be bothering others outside the forum.

As it turns out he was totally chill about the matter. Maybe Israelis are more relaxed about such boundaries. Florstadt could be the exception to the rule.

I think his life in hockey was funny.

Normally people idolize superstars: the guys who score all the goals, etc. My favorite player was Ken Daneyko: a tough stay-at-home defenseman who is referred to as Mr. Devil because he was the NJ Devils first ever draft pick when they moved from Colorado to New Jersey and he played his entire career (20 years in New Jersey).



A close second is Mike Peluso because he went from being considered just a goon when he played for Chicago to a decent player when given the opportunity. I like hearing of players who have limited talent make the most of an opportunity to prove hard work can make a difference.

Unfortunately, Peluso now suffers from epileptic fits and other health issues because of his playing days.

I'm guessing hockey is your favorite sport.

MMA is my favorite sport.

I don't watch hockey anymore. It's a different game from when I enjoyed watching it. It's more like European hockey now.

NJ Devils but I couldn't name 90% of the players on the roster in 2024.
