In defense of him, no he isn't. Rather, he (1) gets fed up with Spaniards being portrayed as no different to Maghrebis and (2) also rightly states that, in comparison with other Europeans of a similar latitude, the British themselves are actually quite brunet.

Inma Cuesta etc... they may be Spaniards of 10 generations, but they simply do not fit into the Iberian spectrum
Busquets types don't look Spanish at all tbh, they clearly look Mena mixed.

10% seems about right, I can think of Salgado and Robbie Savage looking like brothers, Olmo looks a bit like Crouch but not many more than that.

That's literally me saying that he doesn't look Spanish. But there may be people like him in Spain who are 100% native (at least in the past 4 generations) even if they are 1-2%. The same thing I imagine there will be 1-2 % Spaniards like Rupert Grint, but they are very atypical

Now, the thing is true that there are some similar traditions with Celts, for example drinking cider, but on the other hand they are the same as the other Spaniards physically and the majority of traditions are also the same and the language is Latin, not Celtic. In addition, the Galicians and Portuguese are very collectivist, on the contrary, the British are generally very individualistic. But even so, many make mental jokes that they are descendants of Celts, Visigoths, etc. Because they have 20-25% of "light" phenotypes that are also present in the rest of Spain.

It's funny, even their bagpipe music doesn't sound that Celtic, as for the whole redhead thing I can say that it is maybe 1or 2% more common than the rest of Spain but that still means that no more than 1% or 1.5% are redheads.
