Default What do you think of the role of "communists"?

This facebook site says "they are the same as nazis, they are "packs" and same as nazis, and that they were allied with nazis to destroy eastern europe"... Do you think that is ok to say so? Were communists really like nazis? Or this is trivializing actually the nazis and scapegoating the communists?

Im not a communist and it wasnt really good, but i dont think its ok to say they are like nazis and that they were allied with nazis, i think actually nazis and capitalists were closer to eatch other, because capitalists were afraid of communists, some conservatives and capitalists and liberals supported the nazis, because they thought they will defend them against the communists?

Communism is as totalitarian as Nazism, only that it is dressed up to be more noble and egalitarian.

At certain time periods in certain places it was, but not as a whole, in Tito Yugoslavia you had lots of freedom, some freedoms you had which you dont have even in capitalist countries. Or maybe freedom is wrong word but also securities, opportunities which makes you feel free, like free healthcare, high literacy and free schooling etc.

I like some of their ideas like social security, access to good education for lower classes, giving flats to workers and similar. Otherwise, idea of communism was destined to fail and every communist country bankrupted. In peace time, they killed more than nazis did although they were in power far longer.

Idea of dictatorsip of the proletariat is monstrous.

Yugoslavia had more freedom only from mid 1950s and later. Before that, it was one of bloodiest and most repressive regimes of 20th century.

Communism industrialized backward eastern European countries, but at what cost? It destroyed the villages with nationalisation, kolhozes and mass emigration of rural population to work in factories in cities. This was beginning of future and current (eastern) European demographic decline.

Communist run business was extremely unproductive and uncompetitive.

Most communist functionaries were people from bottom of society with little skill. There was extreme negative selection.

Degeneracies like mass abortions reached absolute peak during communist era.

Yes, those USSR nostalgic ones here mostly remember 1960s-1980s, the times when already nobody gave a damn about ideology. But paradoxically those living under Stalin were less mentally corrupted than those in 60s-80s during "calm age". 1990s horrors have roots in those "blessed times", when the populace lost the mommy state and all their demons and helplessness came out.

I'm more grateful to Capitalist Russia, because it allowed people to privatize those flats. My family privatized one flat of two rooms and one smaller flat, both of them now cost like 130k and 80k euros, before ruble fall it was even more. I get money from rent of smaller one. That's literally money from nowhere. I guess KirillMazur got the numerous flats he rents in a similar way from Capitalist exploiter state

Here was done the same, it was good move. My family personally gained nothing from it, but many did, especially working class who got to buy flat they lived in for symbolic price.

I'm gonna sell the smaller one when I will be sure where I'm gonna live permanently to invest in a house. Imagine getting nowadays never earned 80k euros out of nowhere.
