While London's youngest line is the Victoria Line, if we're strictly talking about the Tube, which was opened almost 70 years ago.

If we're bringing line 1 into the discussion, things are different. This line dates back to 1869, and the youngest rolling stock dates back from the 90s. And all of the trains are barraged by graffiti. Only the older trains that were brought by lines 2 and 3 are clean.

But for the underground lines, they're squeaky clean almost although they have some graffiti, that are cleaned relatively quickly however.

For the overground lines... London's network is much more extended and with much more frequent service. Athens has 200 km, with only 54 stations as of now. As mentioned in the video, it's the forgotten aspect of the network. Barely 1-2 scheduled trains per hour, which barely become 4 in the part of the network which is concentrating 2 suburban rail lines. But the trains are clean, and from what I personally noticed, more punctual. But they really have to actually purchase new trains to increase frequency. Passenger traffic especially in the rush hours of the other means of transport, especially of the metro, is too much. And the network is connected to an entire section of line 3, sharing platforms, and to the stations of Piraeus and Larissa Station (the Central Railway Station). And they do get a lot of passengers.
Listen up and listen up good cowboy. flashy trains don't amount to a hill of beans. Public transportation is a fancy pants, flapjack, fast talk, sissy town way to travel. Get yourself a Chevy truck and get some God damn freedom. You control that damn truck and those cowgirls gonna wink knowing real men drive trucks. I'm from Texas

The stations look good indeed, especially to a foreigner's eye who comes to see ancient statues.
For me, Piraeus station is the most beautiful when you come to understand its history.

Otherwise, the maintenance of both the stations and the trains sucks in comparison to most of the EU.
Not talking only about 19th century situations like it happened in Tempi but the ticket machines often don't work, the trains can be late...

The reason they look Asian is because the newer trains are indeed Korean.
