Why men don't like listening to female singer's

I don't listen to female singers at all. Maybe one or two and the would be Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj but their songs tends to be for all audiences.

According to billboard. 21% charting artist are woman. And lowest it is in hip hop 12%
Hip hop fans are so male dominated. Yet doja cat nicki Minaj have very female dominated fan base.

I checked other countries charts too like Japan turkey Pakistan etc 74 to 90% charting artist are men.

Male artist like justin bieber, harry styles can have predominantly female fan base of course there are male artist especially in hip hop like kanye West that have mostly male fan base.

Seem like woman don't have any problem in supporting men music.

Is it genetics? Do men dislike women voice?

Many women are highly annoying when you give them a microphone.

With the exceptions of the ones who I say have "got soul".

Amy Whinehouse was nice to listen to and she actually wrote many good songs.


Stevie Nicks , a great singer however was fortunate to be around magnificent musician like Lyndsey Buckingham and other members Fleetwood Mc.

I certainly like a number of female singers.

Best I've ever seen is Jewel. In "ripping off" Leonard Cohen with this song, she reached his level, imo.

Women's voices aren't the problem imo. It is mostly the lyrics which seem self-centred and shallow.

Men can pull this stuff too. When I first heard Morrissey compare himself to Joan of Ark, I was done with him before I really got started.

See how Celine Dion's treatment of "All By Myself" compared to the original by Eric Carmen. She has the pipes, but no pathos. He's got the heart and soul of the song and the delivery is more nuanced. I can name several others like this that happen.
