Pop is undoubtedly dominated by female singers but i suspect that's not what people with streaming services will listen to on it, so stats might be skewed this way.
Im not gonna launch Tidal to listen to Dua lipa, it's everywhere already to the point you can't escape it, the Grammy's, TV, radio, etc...Nobody asked for it and there is way worse but everybody got the last single down the throat anyway.

Pop according to statistics is not dominated by women.

And i have posted statistics of billboard.

32% charting pop artist are women. That mean 68 charting pop artist are men.

You think that. It is dominated by women. Because it have more women than hip hop, rock. Lol

You have ed Sheeran for every dua lipa. Justin Bieber for every Taylor Swift. Weekend for every Beyonce.

I have two playlists dedicated to '90s females (bands led by them and solo singers). There are 80 acts (40 in each playlist), so it's safe to say that I don't dislike female singers.

It's not a matter of raw ratio in the music industry, 99% are unknown to the general public, male or female. Top Pop billboards have always been heavily females, but i would agree decreasingly less so in the past few years, yet Taylor Swift was the best selling "artist" of 2023, again.

Seem like woman don't have any problem in supporting men music.
Women in general have no problem supporting or getting supported by men, indeed.

Is it genetics? Do men dislike women voice?
No, I like women's voices. just not enough to tolerate them around me 24/7.

Alright , alright, I'll have to stop trolling.

    At max pop is balanced.

Dominated by women is huge statement. Lmao

Yee Taylor Swift. Huge fan base. She is only western artist that is capable of having good album sales. Unlike kpop artist who can still have good album sales

I like loads of female singers. Some of the women singers i like include:

Abba, Carperters, Cranberries, Belinda Carlisle, No Doubt, Cindy Lauper, Dido, Heart, Everything but the Girl, Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette, plus multiple portuguese ones you wouldn't know about.

I would say those are generally liked.
