The story is much darker and more complicated than you think. And much more twisted than I have written so far.
According to the story, Jean-Michel Trogneux is the FATHER of Brigitte's official children, not the mother.

The real Brigitte is long dead, her identity is alive only on paper.

The mother was supposedly confined to an asylum for many years and died in the 21st century.
Brigitte's adult children said they were mourning their "father" Louis-Andre (who is fake), they were really morning their mother.

Jean-Michel Trogneux supposedly impregnated the mother of (but was not the official father of) of Sebastien, Laurence, and Tiphaine, who are "Brigitte's children".
The official father is "Louis-Andre Auziere" who does not exist.
The male in the marriage photograph is Jean-Louis Auziere. He is also the protector and benefactor of Jean-Michel.
The female in the marriage photograph is unknown, an actress standing in for Brigitte.
She is likely the mother of Sebastien, Laurence, and Tiphaine.

Then Jean-Michel Trogneux had 2 kids (Jean-Jacques and Valerie), in his own name, Trogneux,
with a woman named Veronique Dreux, who eventually transitioned into a man while Jean-Michel transitioned into a woman.

This only happens in Hollywood movies where there s always a closet gay, usually the popular football player who is "a homophobic, racist douche" but get caught as gay (always the same plotwist). In reality every guy that isn't clearly homo wants to stay as far as possible from guys in that context and is absolutely repulsed just by the thought of it. This is also backed up by science based on stimuli tests, males have an extremely distinct sexual preference, much more than females.

I agree that women are generally more relaxed about 'experimenting' than men, but that is at least as much social as it is instinctive. (Most societies have persecuted gays far more harshly than lesbians). Furthermore, the world of sports is full of closeted gays/bisexuals and iffy stuff going on behind closed doors: there is more than one reason why, in rugby union, there used to be the phrase "whatever goes on tour stays on tour".

The darkest, sickest, worst part of the story is that Jean-Jacques Trogneux ALSO had an affair with Francoise Nogues,
Emmanuel Macron's mother.

(It is widely believed that Emmanuel was an illegitimate child,
he was not raised by his legal father, he was kept separate from his father and siblings.)

So "Brigitte Macron" is Jean-Jacques Trogneux who is also Emmanuel Macron's father?! What?! Genetic sexual attraction?
And they reunited in the early 1990s and married in the 2000s?

There is no evidence for this part of course,
