I have gay neighbours, they are ok guys and keep low profile. Activist gays I dislike.

This double standard still persists even today. Not just in the world of porn but even on mainstream TV two women getting it on is usually (1) portrayed more explicitly and (2) seen as more normal and acceptable than two men getting it on.
