As much as the idea of being called a Central European makes my skin crawl (east of Germany is Eastern Europe no ands ifs or buts about it)... I'll play along and post my dad, since I think he may be a good example.

Entire family was from the eastern Czech Republic, but he was a quarter Polish as well. Somewhere in all of this is very distant Vlach ancestry (showed up as less than like 3% for me so it couldn't have been overly major in him either).

I'd post a picture of my husband but he does not post pictures of himself online. He is entirely Celtic, English, and Scandinavian, yet tans brown in the summer with almost black hair, people assume he is mixed with something Levantine or also Latin American (honestly I think most people just think browner skin = LATAM or MENA). Although if you aren't stupid, you can look at him and see the obvious European features. Not so obvious with my dad.

The reason I don't do classifications is because I have a little bit of face blindness. I don't know why. I can see a superficial resemblance but I don't have it in my brain to explain why their ethnic look would be different. That's why I come on here and ask people who are better at this than I am lol.

IMHO the best example. He looks weird even for some parts of Southern Europe - not to mention England where he comes from.
Fits better in Turkey, the Levant or Iran.
