(1) "Male homosexuality is a sin and abomination, whereas lesbianism is tolerable if not commendable". This is a double standard that ironically brings together everything from religious fundamentalists to the porn industry itself. (Yes I know that the gay porn industry is huge, but the crucial difference is that, most of the time at least, gay sex is kept vehemently out of straight porn, whereas lesbian sex is a commonplace feature of it).
(2) "Non-English speakers moving to English-speaking countries without knowing the language are rude, uneducated and disrespectful, whereas English-speakers moving to non-English speaking countries without knowing the language are tolerable if not commendable". Arguably the most objectionable feature of that godawful series Emily In Paris, far more than the stupid stereotypes about the French being sexual libertines and lazy, was the very notion of sending an American woman to her company's branch in Paris even though she only spoke about five words of French. And while loads of Americans get indignant about the many Mexicans who live there without speaking much if any English, all the same how many of the roughly one million Americans who live in Mexico know decent Spanish?
(3) "People who are 50% or less SSA are still Black, whereas even a small amount of non-European ancestry makes someone non-white". Mulattas who have zero chance whatsoever of passing in Sub-Saharan Africa (except maybe as atypical Horners, but even that would be a stretch), such as Karyn Parsons and Halle Berry, are still routinely labelled as 'Black'. By contrast, an otherwise very European person who has a hooked nose, squinty eyes or darker-than-average skin becomes 'non-white'.
