In your country, which tourist attractions/towns would you say are overrated?

In Britain's case, definitely Windsor. Very kitsch and expensive, whether it is the shops, the castle or Legoland.

Lake Balaton is overrated.

I have no idea why do tourists visit it, because Dalmatia is not far away and its much better. Balaton became very expensive nowadays, so its not cheaper than Croatia anymore. I have seen a comparison even Spain is cheaper than Balaton lol

Other tourist places dont exist in Hungary just Budapest and Balation, the other parts are boring.

Berlin doesnt really have any noteworthy attractions and only looks good at night, even then only in some parts. the Fernsehturm was alright but gets way too much spotlight. Also the food kinda sucked up there

Yeah Berlin is a shithole with full of migrants. I have no idea why are many young german obsessed with Berlin to live there. Might be the effects of media, movies, series that preset Berlin as "german New York" or something like that. Never been there but i have heard that many district are ruined.

from my experience only those that dont live close to them actually like berlin. Rent is going through the roof here because people in berlin cant even afford to live there anymore, so they spread out like the pest that they are. However i will be fair and say unlike a place like Frankfurt am Main that sucks entirely, Berlin does have very few good corners. I dont think the people that obsess over berlin mean those corners, but they do exist. Not that theyre worth it to visit , i live quite close to berlin and have only ever been there once

Vizcaya in Miami, Florida. It was nice when I visited it in my teens. Water was flowing. But the last few times I visited Vizcaya, in my 30's, the gardens stunk horribly. There was no fresh water flowing. It was stagnant. It was depressing. The house is ok.

My last visit there was for an Italian Renaissance Fair/Festival, many years ago.
