What is your hair type?

I like doing these threads so I will finally contribute. You can do this no matter your hair length, but obviously long hair is easier

I did not find a good graphic for thin vs coarse hair, but this method should work:

> All you need to do is take a single strand of hair between your fingers. If your hair is not easy to see or feel between your fingertips, you have fine hair texture. If you can feel the hair, it's medium texture. And if you feel a strong, thick strand, you have coarse texture.

For your hair pattern, you can use these:

I have a mix of 2a, 2b and 2c, but my hair is very fine. If I don’t take care of it, it’s straight-wavy and very frizzy, but if I do I can even get large curls like this:

When I made this thread I thought of you; check your hair thickness, make sure to get one individual strand. If it is fine you might want to look into fine hair shampoo, my hair looked like yours for awhile but recently I started using it and it actually made it more curly + shinier

hmm i'd say that my hair is quite thin now that i checked it yeah.

when short as I usually wear it...straight
when it gets longer a slight wave becomes apparent
it's quite thick though

when it gets longer like 2a/2b, i would say its like a tougher medium. It used to be more like 1b just 2-3 years ago
