Default World Happiness Report for young people

Interesting, I didnt expect that we are on high 3rd place.

Lithuania took the top spot for young people, with its under-30 population rating their happiness an average of 7.6 out of 10.

Israel and Serbia followed in second and third.

For seven years in a row, Finland has ranked top for happiness overall. However, looking at its young people alone, it ranks seventh.

The UK placed 32nd for young people, with the US at number 62.

Hmmm I would say I am happier now in 30s than in 20s, when I was unemployed or was working low-payed shitty jobs, after graduating at university.

But I am glad our youngsters are so happy.
Also now unemployment rate among that age group is lower than used to be 6-7 years ago.

Well yes, those of us in our 30s did not had happy childhood, or young adulthood. Even 5 years ago situation in job market was way worse.
But what I want to say is as you get older your salary rise with experience, and also because of family expenses, but that's normal and expected thing.

It is scary how much health care is degraded in Serbia in the last 10 years roughly. God save of some serious disease, if you don't have connection in the hospital it's better to commit suicide. Some members of my family were victims of degredeed Serbian health care, luckily without tragic results. But I know several people which died because they did not have connection in the hospitals, and if they had connection they would be still alive. Few days ago 21 old girl from settlement near Belgrade died due to inefficiencies of the health care system. She had an astma attacks, and the ambulance did not want to come for her on time https://www.kurir.rs/vesti/drustvo/4...e-cekala-hitnu
My cousin know close cousin of that poor girl.
In the health centers health workers especially females are often rude and unproffesional. It is well know that in last about 20 years many Serbian doctors and nurses moved to Germany and some other western countries, quality of many of those which stayed is debatable.

I think basic studies of medicine should be degraded, from 6 years to 4-5 years. That way young doctors wont be sougth out abroad, and it will also decrease their large ego they develop as they are studying, as currently they believe due to their long studies that they are smarter than other professions.

It will produce worse doctors but we don't need top 5% experts, and whoever wants to go for top 5% expertise can pay his own scholarship abroad.

Yes, but other surrounding nations such as Croats, Bosnian Muslims and Albanians have even sharper decrease in number of births in last decade.

The feeling of happiness is a subjective feeling, it is not related with standard of living. People in Serbia are known by openness, friendliness, by love for music and dance etc. They were like that always, even in much worse historical period (from political and economic point of wiew) than current. The best parties in Serbia especially in Belgrade were during the NATO bombing in 1999. People which participated in those parties as tenageers and young adults still talk obout them with nostalgia.

Krajina Serbs are not like Serbs of Serbia (Srbijanci) in that segment traditionally. There was no cult of music and dance among us as tradition. We are poor in that, and even our traditional dances and singing are without music. When one my cousin was getting married for Serbia Serb (Srbijanac) in 1960s his family and relatives on the wedding were danced including his old grandfather, on the other hand her family and relatives were just sitting as some robots. They were shocked with behavior of Srbijanci, and some of them compared them (Srbijanci) with Gypsies. In general among Krajina Serbs is not rare that tendency of Srbijanci towards dance, music, their more relaxed behavior/way of life call 'Gypsy' features.
