I have a friend who is bosnian croat/catholic, she said her cousin was born at the beginning of the bosnian war, and the americans marched up with their tanks to congratulate her uncle, she said her uncle was a high ranking bosnian croat officer and the americans "worked with him". So they were already on the side of croats, before the war even started not only at the end of it?

The original Carrington–Cutileiro peace plan, named for its authors Lord Carrington and Portuguese ambassador José Cutileiro, resulted from the EC Peace Conference held in February 1992 in an attempt to prevent Bosnia-Herzegovina sliding into war. It was also referred to as the Lisbon Agreement (Serbo-Croatian: Lisabonski sporazum). It proposed ethnic power-sharing on all administrative levels and the devolution of central government to local ethnic communities.

On 18 March 1992, all three sides signed the agreement; Alija Izetbegović for the Bosniaks, Radovan Karadžić for the Bosnian Serbs and Mate Boban for the Bosnian Croats.

On 28 March 1992, after a meeting with US ambassador to Yugoslavia Warren Zimmermann in Sarajevo, Izetbegović withdrew his signature and declared his opposition to any division of Bosnia.


Few days later war in Bosnia started.

There was no American troops on ground in Bosnia neither American tanks.

Most of western world supported Yugoslavia to be kept togheder, and that is why they voted UN arms embargo that greatly helped Serb cause.

Only after Serbs started commiting massacres they changed their mind, with UK and France still being largerly pro Serb.

America forced Bosnian Muslims and Croats to reconcile in 1994, even though they were at bloody war with each other, only to act together against the Serbs.

America bombed the positions of the Bosnian Serbs, as well as the Udbina airport in Krajina, in order to disable the defense against Croatian aggression.

America coordinated the Croatian military aggression оn Krajina, and influenced the final sentences of the Croatian generals in Hague.

Serb civilians already started fleeing the city in front of approaching Croatian Army. Without US pressure capital of Srpska would be outside of your hands today.

Many Croats are bitter US didn't let us take the city and destory western Republika Srpska once for all.

Also wrong regarding Haague. Bosnian Croat generals were sentenced to jail terms which resulted in Praljak killing himself because he considered sentence unjust.

Neither aggresors could enter Banja Luka, it is only your wet dream.
All areas that where occupied in 1995 in Krajina and western Bosnia was rarely populated without any large city.
Your attempt to cross Una river and occupy Prijedor was failed.

Even if they could enter, they would withdraw out as they did from Mrkonjić Grad and Šipovo, because it was agreed that 49% territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina will be Republika Srpska. As it is.

Praljak was sentenced for crimes against Muslims.
Again, West dont like to Croats and Muslims fight against each other - they should act together against Serbs.
