What's the deal with Mats Hummels?

Like this dude is supposedly fully German...but he looks clearly not German at all? It's not even about the hair color or whatever no because Michael Ballack looks very German despite not being super pale and having darker hair but Hummels looks like he's part Turkish or part Arabic or something.

Am I the only one who thinks this? Like he doesn't look even remotely German to me. His parents do look it sure but could this be a case of the paternity being different?

He could have been adopted too. But I have actually seen very similar Germans to him. They were all Bavarians.

looks German to me - ignore the photos with longer/sharper facial hair and the funnier haircuts, maybe his beard and hair style are not popular with Germans so you cannot associate his look to Germans because of superficial stuff like style, otherwise he looks German in more normal photos, like this

Antholian Farmers genetics peaks where? How do those people look like? How much do Germans - a very small country of around 80 Millions+ people- have this type of admixture?

Judging by his brother (looks more exotic imo) could be "nu-meds" aka some Med-ish people who settled later, but guys like Mats appear here and there in Germany indeed.

While his look is not common, it is not anything to write home about either. Now OTOH some East Baltid or Uralic looking Germans for some reason surprise me more.
