Operation Cyclone, hailed for its role in weakening the Soviet grip on Afghanistan, also gifted the U.S. with some "delightful" unintended consequences. It seems those "friendly" militant groups supported during Cyclone decided to repay the favor by turning their guns on their former sponsors.

One can't help but chuckle at the sheer absurdity of attempting to portray this chaotic fallout as anything other than a masterclass in unintended folly. Such is the whimsical dance of geopolitics, where even the best-laid plans can unravel into a farce of epic proportions.

I have a friend in Russia who was frightened by the relatively minor "Ukrainian" drone attacks at the Federation Tower,
where she lived, but she was not home at the time.

All speculation

Looks like Ukraine was involved in this, what they need to establish now is how high up this has been planned from -- Budanov, or possibly Zelensky himself, with the knowledge of the CIA? We will find out. The perpetrators have been caught trying to flee back into Ukraine, they will now be thoroughly questioned. Putin will make a speech thereafter about it, and Russia's response.

This is NOT the work of Islamic State, but I understand why the Western media wants to push this false narrative, to cover for Ukraine.

And recently US media has reported that the CIA had many bases inside Ukraine,
conducting offensive operations inside Russia YEARS before the Ukraine War began.

So all acts of Ukrainian or Jihadi terrorism in Russia can be understood as US terrorism against Russia outsourced to a third party.
