People are not getting married, not having children? Is Marriage dead?

This is very disturbing and it seems like the trends are only getting worse. Christianity is in decline in most areas in the West and most women are reaping benefits but not having children. Later on in life they desire children but it's too late because their time has passed. Men don't want to get married because women win in divorce cases. For the first time ever, people over 40 are record high at never having been married.

Why don't people want to get married? Marriage is God's idea and it's for the coming of children and family life. The institution of marriage is on life support. Some blame the Jewish influence, but I think it's simply the lack of faith people have in God and things that matter.

I'm 53, never married, no children, one abortion at 18. I wanted to be married but only in a good, happy marriage. I avoided getting into bad marriages.

It is not even necessarily a case about raw numbers as such, but about the intelligence and age-range of those who are increasing and decreasing in number. Put simply, the number of elderly people is rapidly increasing, yet there will be fewer and fewer people of working age to support them, and I am not sure if robotics and AI will suffice in the future as a substitute either. What's more, it seems that birth rates decrease in pretty much every society the further up the social ladder you go.
