Marriage is not nor ever will be dead but I think its expected that as society continues advance more and more each decade so will the increase of people's ambition and drive to succeed and live more accomplished lives which means less settling down and having children who would no doubt be perceived as "holding them back".

So mentally retarded people have tons of children? Nope. The problem is a certain demographic. But otherwise, this is something people say to make themselves feel better. I am a failure because I haven't gotten married and had children. That is true success. If you have a high paying job but no wife or kids, you are a failure. My parents both had high IQs and have 5 children . My father had a 140 IQ and my mother was 120. My father was offered a VP position at his company but my mother told him to turn it down because she felt it would tempt him to have affairs with other women.
