I think, that's very negative, even if many women wouldn't admit it, similar to if you were raped by men as a man, most women would respond with pity, but you have lost all respect in her eyes and she no longer sees you as that Man or someone she would date. As a 16-17 year old, I hung out with a few young people in a city park, a few girls actually liked me, then I got punched in front of everyone, and was also a coward in this fight and I noticed how everyone and especially the girls saw that they had lost respect.

It depends. I hate adult crybabies of either sex. Everyone cries sometimes especially if there is a serious reason. I do look down on whiny men. I won't look down on someone who is crying because their dog just died.

I have no problem with men crying in front of women anymore than if it were a woman crying in front of a man.
Emotions are perfectly human and natural. Categorizing whenever it is expressed in whichever form from either gender as negative or something to be frowned upon or worst mocked at is immature and foolish.

There is a sufficient reason, a death, or something serious. I'd say it's permissible, no woman wants to be with a guy who cries on the regular or someone who can't regulate their emotions well. Speaking broadly, Women are more prone to becoming emotionally dysregulated than men. They won't feel secure if they don't feel they can rely on their husband. You'll often hear the phrase 'he's my rock' even though women won't like to admit it often, they are the more emotional of the genders. That being said if she breaks it off because her boyfriend cries over the death of a friend or relative, or something equally significant that's just a bad person.

I'm speaking broadly here, I'm sure there are relationships where the woman is the 'rock' and the man is the more dysregulated one. These are generally the exceptions to the rule. These pairs more often than not are outliers of the above groups in terms of sexual competitiveness, so they fall into atypical relationship structures eg. polyamory, demisexual cope varieties
