Georgia is considered White and is apparently on the way to EU membership, i believe that Chechens are slightly lighter than Georgians so if Chechnya was to become an independent state it would be more likely to qualify for EU candidacy than Turkey.

Georgia is coincidentally majority Christian... Hm. Yeah, let's be honest. From a historical perspective. White is also intrinsically tied to being Christian. I would even go as far to claim if Anatolia was never Islamized and had remained Christian and Greek. Turkey would be considered a White European nation.

People think I am strange for this but given the cultural/genetic heritage of white Americans and Canadians... they're basically a sub-class of European.

But yeah technically a small part of Turkey is in Europe.

Ghana is Christian but wouldn't be considered European, i think if Turkey wasn't Muslim it would still be considered un European much in the same way that Russia has often be seen as culturally alien and unlikely to join the so called European family.

Turkey is very brown and Arabic though admittedly I don't know how is it in specific parts of the country.
