    Default Classify/pass this Welsh man

Reminds me of Ron DeSantis a bit. Saw him in a 2016 article asking Welsh expats in the US (or Americans with strong Welsh links) about said year's Presidential Election. This man is from Aberystwyth. He was unenthusiastic about Trump or Clinton (even though he was unable/uneligible to vote).

He has that sort of Irish-French intermediate look that once again makes one look distinctly Welsh (ironically he wouldn't really pass as Irish or French in the bigger picture, but it seemingly to some of the Illinoisans I met in the summer of mixed German-Irish ancestry, whereby they wouldn't pass either of their two ethnic backgrounds, rather they just looked 'Midwestern').

I honestly cannot think of many people who look disticntly Welsh, more people look distinctly Scottish or Irish though

This guy above can't really pass in Ireland, England or France. Can't think of him passing anywhere else but his home country. The Irish or Scottish tend to look more pan-Isles. Davystahn (who, in fairness, probs has the finest phenotypical knowledge of Cymru on here), described the natives of Cymru of finding it the hardest to pass in other parts of the British Isles (which doesn't mean a great swathe of people do not). Who is someone who looks distinctly 'Scottish' in your mind.
Are you actually implying the Welsh can posses more of a pan-Euro look than the Irish or Scottish?

Typical Scots would be Charles Kennedy

    Ian Blackford

    Carol Kirkwood

    Robbie Coltrane

I think Scots tend to have larger faces, smaller eyes, squareish faces.

I thought you were of the opinion that Scotland was more 'Nordid' than Wales (from a metric point of view)? In terms of face shape I think the Welsh and Scottish are pretty similar, both bearing a far higher % of 'block-headed' types than the English (or Irish in this regard). Charles Kennedy looks very pan-English/Irish/Scottish though, ditto for Blackford. Not denying there are plenty of Scots who don't pass as English (in similarity to the Welsh) and that's not discounting the fact that the Scottish, like the English tend to have small eyes. Stuart Adamson and Greg Hemphill look VERY Scottish to my eyes, whereby they would struggle to pass as English or Irish.
