Highest immigration rate in 30 years

The Copenhagen Post: The number of immigrants coming to Denmark in the third quarter was the highest ever for the period

A record 26,312 people were given legal residency in Denmark between July and September - the most since quarterly immigration statistics began being kept in 1980.

Polish immigrants were responsible for the majority of the figure as 2,585 came to the country during the third quarter, according to Statistics Denmark. The agency's figures show that 540 Poles left the country during the period, resulting in a net increase in Denmark of 2,062 Polish nationals for the quarter.

The total number of Poles who have been given legal residency in Denmark since October 2007 has gone from around 13,000 to over 20,000 as of the most recent count.
Germans and Americans make up the second and third largest groups of immigrants to Denmark during the third quarter of 2008, with figures showing net increases of 1,041 and 975, respectively.

I just read something about immigration into Germany and Poles were on the top of that list too. Are there any Poles in Poland??

I envy Denmarks immigration statistics.
Sweden should give there left foot for the same numbers and origins of newcomers presented here.

But then again, Danes are a classy people with good government.

Because it's an economic cesspool, just like most of the rest of Eastern Europe, while the Western and Northern countries are the rich carcasses that cry out for looting.

If I'd only get one Euro for every time I had been advised to go west...

Poles and other northeast Europeans, in my experience from the construction business, do go home. When the work market run dry, they return. They have a decent life they are planning for and in most cases it is in their home village or town.

Middle Eastern or African immigrants cannot compare, they are predatory and toxic to the core. Even so, migrant worker kind of immigrants deflates wages and should be stopped.

That is also true, yes. Europeans are usually only moving for a few years, to get some decent payment for their work. But what would an Iraqi or a Somali return home to? Allied troops melting down their villages in search of insurgents? Pirates raiding their homes, or militias of the rivaling tribes gang-raping and mass-murdering them?

No. The vast majority of the non-European immigrants can only be removed by force. Heck, they even risk their lives en masse to get up north and away from their sh*thole nations.
