Interesting that the majority phenotype isn't Slavic but some form of Pontid-Caucasian mix. The brunets look even more exotic than the Slavic looking ones: many if not most are unpassable

I always thought the darker ones looked Bulgarian, but you guys keep saying they look more Caucaus so maybe that is the case for darker Ukrainians outside of the west. Considering Crimean Tatars often look very Caucasus, I guess that's not surprising.
How would you classify the "Caucaus" element you see. Also, these people are actually more northern-shifted than some adjacent areas due to larger influx of northern Ukrainians and central Russians.
Dnipro was actually far more depopulated when Cossacks were exiled, so Zaporzhian Sich descendants and their appearances are better found in the south like in Kherson and Odessa, and even Zaporzhia proper than it. Dnipro got a lot of northern Ukrainians and Russians that mixed with the remaining Cossacks who became state peasants, so the people there have more northern types than say Mykolaiv or even central parts like Kirovohrad. The darker looks you see among them are common in the South, Center, and East (particularly Donetsk, less so in Luhansk).
Could they pass in Russia? Russians on here claim here that Eastern Ukraine is indistinguishable from Russians as a whole.

Sayenko - Pontid/Gorid, I guess.
Suprunyuk - North Pontid/Gorid.
Sayenko in other photos just looks like a normal pred. Pontid you see through out EE imo:
Suprunyuk looks typical for all of Ukraine, Sayenko's type is more common in the steppes. Which is funny since a Russian here said he must be a gypsy. His type was one of the dominant ones in Zaporzhian Cossacks. I think most people have a limited knowledge of what Ukrainians look like on here.
