If you aren't a native speaker, your tone might be different from the tone you speak your native language. Also with men I interact with different done than to females. Most females I have met have not heard me interact with other males.

I have a friend who met his girlfriend on dating app, she is Turkish from Turkey. At least they meet much easier than I will lol. But she is Muslim and afaik her family are not quite ok with him.
