We should not forget that Australia is where the British dump their undesirables. It's simply unnatural for Europeans to be living in the Pacific. The different environment eventually chips away at the European character and creates something inexplicably vile and dangerous.

I do think Europeans are not made for certain alien climates and environments. Many stories of whites going crazy in the jungle for example.

I would never live in the centre of Australia. Also I wouldn't live in the north of Australia. At the moment places like Queensland and New South Wales have had constant flooding. Where I live it gets very hot but it is a dry heat and easier to cope with than the humidity of Queensland. Even now though I'm sick of the heat as we have had almost 6 months of constant hot weather and it keeps warm at night.

The natives cannot build much of a civilisation in the vast grassland, similar to the American prairie.
They will always be nomadic with a low density.
