Not necessarily. Demand can be created (or reduced). This is the purpose of marketing.
Supply can be increased or decreased, so can demand but it is more complicated.
And it generally doesn't matter if the theoretical demand is sky-high,
if the product is illegal and totally unavailable due to a serious state and serious law enforcement.

Yeah, unfortunately, it's unrealistic to entirely eradicate the problem. There will always be prostitution in one form or another, just as there will always be murder cases, regardless of what the law has to say. However, most governments have the means to significantly reduce prostitution. Simply prosecute whores and pimps in the same manner as you would prosecute a murderer or armed robberer, rather than treating it as a misdemeanor, as is often the case.

Yes, that must play a role, but there‘s also a strange movement of HIV denial, scarcity of medicine and more, especially also in Russia. Here is some info to that, unfortunately in German. Everybody may feel free to doubt these Western sources and rely on Russian ones

I don't trust Russian sources, it's a highly corrupted country. Same for Ukraine.
-this referred to Wagner prison recruitsIt was estimated that 20 percent of all new Russian Armed Forces recruits from prisons had HIV. Those Russian service members who are living with HIV infection are made to wear red wristbands, indicating their HIV status. White wristbands are worn by those infected with Hepatitis

Organised crime can always be greatly reduced, to insignificant levels,
if the state/government (and ideally society) is serious about it!
I don't really have a problem with prostitutes who are self-employed,
and sell their services discreetly or online (the morality is another issue).
But the prostitution industry is harmful to society, promotes trafficking and organised crime, ruins neighbourhoods, etc.
