Makes no sense to represent the swedish system as an universal truth. Countries have different cultur, different mentality, different society, just because something is working in Sweden it does not mean it will works in Bulgaria too. Ukraine is good example, prostitution is illegal and this country is the no1 prostitute paradise in Europe. Why? Because the society is poor and corrupt and nobody cares about the laws. So firstly you need an adult society before you do anything.

An average east european teenager grow up in a totaly westernized bubble because of movies, internet, they think this woke and other western thing is the true modernism and they try to copy it because they think it makes them "better" than other east europeans who are uncivilized according to them. They act like "governors". In that region the democracy and capitalism came very fast, the local poor peoples see and hear this money obsession everywhere which is a very new thing after 50 years communism. This thug life mentality like: "gangsters, sluts, guns and fast money" is also popular in East Europe, its a little bit similar to black criminal culture and product of 90' years which was the heyday of mafia.

To be honest, i am not surprised that tons of east european girls became prostitutes, and do it totally willingly without any force. Its perfectly visible in the universities. Nobody is forcing them, they just follow the illusion of rich westernized life what they saw in the american movies.

"The idea that you can pay for a woman's body" comes from the reality that some women are willing to sell their body. Moreover many more women willingly objectify themselves in media or real life for male attention/money, without being prostitutes. You will probably say this is 'the patriarchy' forcing them to, but it's mainly just the inevitable sexual dynamics of a society with rampant liberalism and permissiveness, and I blame both genders for that.

From a utilitarian perspective there is no way that banning only buying sex is more effective in curtailing prostitution than banning both buying and selling. From a moral perspective it is fundamentally unjust that two people can have a business transaction and only the buyer be prosecuted for it (even though it might be the prostitute's 10th client of the week), and comes from the insane feminist ideology that women are always victims, and men are always victimisers. If you truly believe prostitution should be illegal then you should support the prosecution of everybody willingly involved in it, anything else is a glaring double standard.


Again those studies will be talking about correlations, not proof that prostitution/porn is causing an overall increase in those behaviours. I don't need a study to tell me that men who employ hookers or watch violent porn are going to be more prone to crime or anti-social behaviour on average, it's obvious. I believe that porn is overall decreasing sexual activity/aggression because people are being satisfied by videos rather than other people, and it is perhaps the main reason for the massive increase in young people not having sex. That is a bigger concern anyhow than the dubious assertion that it causes misogyny. Prostitution is also an outlet for fucked-up men to act out their desires where they might otherwise do so on non-prostitutes.


I see the problems with it, just not the same ones you do. Lets agree to disagree on that because I have no desire to defend anyone willingly involved in prostitution or porn. Whether or not they're enjoying it doesn't matter, most people don't particularly enjoy their jobs; the only thing that matters is consent.

In the society we live in today there is a "Victim" appropriated card excuse for almost everything.(OFC Im not reffering to real actual sex trafficked women from Asia and East Europe which do exist and are victims).

Despite that there are literally thousands and thousands of women throughout the Western world working as prostitutes and online independent porn like Onlyfans some how it is impossible for some to accept some people just choose to do that.
If there is ever any potential slut shaming or finger pointing concerns the victim cards are always at the ready to be held up when required.
