He didn't defeat the Aztecs with only 400-500 soldiers. He defeated the Aztecs by being allied with other Amerindian peoples (tribes that had been abused and were bitter vassals of the Aztecs), and, of course, smallpox helped devastate the population.

I can't comment on Shaka Zulu because I don't talk about what I don't know (unlike you), and considering your posting history you're not to be trusted on any subject.

The English conquest of the immense India was almost a walk in the park for the English. .. and asking why is a legitimate question. I gave a perfectly coherent and exhaustive answer and I know very well how to distinguish facts from opinions.

I taught mathematical analysis/calculus up to the Laplace transform ( in the electronics course) and the Fourier series, with the first rudiments of differential equations.

Question: How do you explain the easy english conquest of India with a small army compared to the incredible number of Indian soldiers?


My answer : What separat the Enghish soldiers from Indian ones is almost exclusively discipline..and a disciplined army can defeat the much larger enemy without organization. There was no school where war strategy was taught.

In India there was no culture of tactics in war actions.
