I consider that a wrong approach and it does also not approximate what I suggested with a merged kit.

Often you have a kit with many evaluated by the G25 calculation SNPs (OmniExpress chip data) and one with notably fewer (GSA chip data). The run with fewer evaluated SNPs gives ZERO additional information compared to that with more evaluated SNPs. So making that in any way effective by using it for making an average is a big wrong. It should be completely ignored. Otherwise you simply pollute a good result that is based on a high number of evaluated SNPs.

Merging the raw data is another story. Because nothing of the raw data is wrong and you will then achieve a run with a little bit more evaluated SNPs compared to the OmniExpress chip data only. Then that result should be taken as the sole result.

Only if you have two runs with different results and essentially equally many evaluated SNPs, creating and using an average is a reasonable measure.

to iberian people delete Sardinia , West_Med or you will get overfit , if you not have east iberia ancestry is necessary delete aswell

In reddit some people said some raw datas have snps another one not have so i think merge should be for that, if you have pattern of snps in a 1 raw data and another one not have the same pattern result shouldnt be the same, a practical example would be correspondence matches, in some raw data you get a match with a certain person in another raw data this may not happen because they are not the same snps collected, the collection is made from several different parts of the DNA, if one company did not use the same snp pattern that was used in the other raw data, its final result and its dna matches may have a slight difference, this will be more noticeable in matches with smaller shared segments, Another practical example would be a person taking two tests with the same company and getting slightly different results, this happens due to the snps collection process, but that will not happen if you just upload the same raw data because is just same pattern of snps
