You know, you could've just said my name. Sheesh.
But yes, its a tactless play on my username by that Clown Fragile Goofball (if we wanna invent nicknames) who is a old and bitter defeated sore loser who is so irate that nobody thumbed up his silly arguments to the degree of the ones challenged his absurdities, that he has to resort to dragging the conversation from the thread
Palestine vs Israel
to the thread Croatian man killed in Ireland "for speaking Croatian"
And now this thread.
Three threads in total, what a fragile little man, and I didn't even engage with him at all in those mentioned threads but because his fragile ego was utterly shattered, anyone showing support to his betters is fair game.

Some technical info for those who want to know, the drones were used for two purposes
(1) PEN-AIDs or decoys/baits for the enemy air defense radars and batteries for probing them to expose their search and track ranges and exhaustion of ammo/missiles, a cheap noisy kamikaze drone like Shahed or Arash-2 is almost 40-60 times cheaper than the missile that intercepts it, meanwhile, it exposes the position of enemy radars, SAM sites. Russian forces are using this probing trick very well in Ukraine.
(2) Political aspect; Iran has fast supersonic UCAVs too but IRGC chose the slow ones to buy time so that news spread and people rally. They deliberately flew them over religious places in Iraq and Jerusalem to emotionally charge up the populace. Ideally speaking, the drones could have been launched from Iraq, Syria, or Lebanon where they would just pop on track radars without any prior information, but that's an actual war move. Nobody is fighting a war here.
Ballistic missiles that were used were of two types.
(1) Maneuverable Re-entry vehicles (MaRV) that were supposed to dance around in the skies to dodge/exhaust the long-range Air defense of the enemy. These included Emad MaRV. Their separated boost/first stages in Iraq and Jordan and some in Israel which stupid people on the internet thought are interceptions but are just dumped parts after exhaustion of fuel or when the warhead separates in the terminal phase.
(2) The ones that were supposed to hit and did so successfully were Hypersonic Glide Vehicles HGV called Fattah-1/2 and Kheybar-Shikan who both scored hits and got through layered air defense.
See the pop-up maneuver by one of them before hitting the target. This is a very difficult system to intercept. Its export form is called Zolfagahar and is transferred or transferred to Russian missile forces to act along the Iskander SRBM system of Russia.

Here is a Salvo of them hitting targets through air defense

If anybody saw the videos, some missiles suddenly became a large fireball in the upper atmosphere and then came down for strike. This was IRBM/borderline ICBM Khorramshahr-4 which deploys like 80 x submunitions instead of one warhead. It practically can't be intercepted.
(3) Cruise missiles that were used were Soumar or Paveh, they are long-ranged almost like American Tomahawks and may be transferred to Russia in future. Here is the Russian Defence Minister viewing it in Tehran.
..........
Iran and Israel have no actual conflict which is why both talk shit and do nothing significant to each other.

Exactly, I don't think World War 3 will start over this.
Iran is merely re-establishing deterrence after Israel (illegally) assassinated its officers at the embassy in Damascus.
When one country gets hit by another country, the other country hits back to show strength, re-establish deterrence.
Proxies are often used, there is escalation, but no one wants war. It is unclear if Iran or the US could handle a Middle East war.

Israel spent 1 Billion USD on air defense alone against 100 million USD spent by Iran. The staggering cost of Israel's defense against Iran's missile attack: '4-5 billion shekels per night'
Russian strategy can change significantly in Ukraine after this attack. 2-3 waves of such attacks can deplete the enemy air defense completely and then the airforce can take over the bombing campaign.

A shadow war/rivalry is going on in the Levant and Mediterranean coast for economic reasons. The General of IRGC who died was sitting 60 KM away from the Israeli border. These exchanges like an assassination here or a missile strike there change nothing. I will write about it.
