Sydney: Bishop stabbed in church, along with other people

This news just breaking from Sydney Australia, what seems to be an Orthodox bishop was stabbed in the Christ The Good Shepherd Church.

Isn't this that well known bishop that puts his sermons online? Apparently he was stabbed whilst doing a livestream recording.

Attacker seems to be a Levantine Muslim (Lebanese or Syrian) but apparently the knife was not open when he stabbed the bishop. The church is in the main Assyrian suburb of Fairfield in Australia, it looks like hundreds of people surrounded it after the stabbing. There were some very minor confrontations with the police who were sent in with riot gear.

Some Assyrians are saying that they did not let the police in the church immediately, and many Assyrians outside the church were throwing things at them. Furthermore, they're also saying that the attacker was beat up and they may have chopped off his fingers. Although none of these things have been confirmed.

That Bondi attack wasn't Muslim or religion related, it seems the guy was targeting women. Probably an incel. He was known by his family to have had mental illness.
