Default Belarusian "enrichment" in Mecklenburg, Germany

A typical story. Now effecting my direct and beloved German environment!

    Translated:

First employee pushed away, then fled and finally released

In Parchim on Saturday, there was first a theft and then a chase. But that was by no means all.

Theft, shoving, escape and then release: that's how you can summarise what happened in Parchim on Saturday. According to the police, two men from Belarus were involved. One of the two is said to have been approached by a cashier in a supermarket "because the waistcoat the man was wearing appeared heavily baggy when he left the store", according to the police. But then things really got going.

"The perpetrator pushed the employee aside and ran to the exit. Here he pushed another elderly customer, who subsequently fell," the police continued. Although the employee was initially able to restrain the perpetrator, he was able to free himself and flee the supermarket.

The police then noticed a Honda which, according to the police, "could be linked to the offence". However, the driver of the car fled - at over 100 km/h in the town centre. The man's escape only came to an end in a neighbouring allotment garden and he was apprehended by the police.

According to the police, stolen goods totalling 2,000 euros were found in the vehicle. These included "hundreds of tinned fish, three-figure packets of coffee, chocolate packets" and roll-on deodorant, the police added. The second man involved was arrested in the supermarket.
    Suspected perpetrators released

"The two perpetrators were released after paying a security deposit," the police said. The items from the car were seized for further investigations.

According to the police, the employee who was pushed away and the customer who was shoved were slightly injured in the incident.

The police say that other supermarkets in the region may also have been victimised. Anyone who can provide information on further thefts is asked to contact a police station.
