Well done to those who guessed correctly, although I made it easier by saying they were not from Europe ( technically they are Jordanian Kavkazians, Caucasus is on the border if Europe and they are all Muslims so I hardly think anyone wants to claim them as Europeans.).

How well do they pass as Bosniaks?
I would say that ethnically speaking Circassia is European, the border lies more north of Armenia/Azerbaijan.

Just as a side note: In a German common sense, the respective border between Europe and Asia is along the Kuma-Manych depression which makes the North Caucasus Asia.

Translated from the German Wikipedia article on Europe:

"Today, the definition of the border between Europe and Asia is usually based largely on Philip Johan von Strahlenberg's definition. According to this definition, the Ural Mountains and river form the eastern border of Europe. Between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, the boundary line runs through the Manych depression north of the Caucasus Mountains, as a strait once connected the Caspian Sea with the Black Sea in its place.[5][6] The globe shown above draws the border along the main ridge of the Caucasus Mountains, which is slightly different; this demarcation is favoured in English- and French-speaking countries (→ Inner Eurasian border)[7]."

The Caucasus is considered a crossroads between Asia and Europe. Whether they are part of Europe or Asia varies.

I don't know why you repeat this. My quoted text says exactly that for English and French speaking countries.

You translated a text from German and claim they say that for English and French speaking countries?

Siberia is also part of Russia and governed by Russia, does that make all of Siberia part of Europe?

The intent with my translated text is that it is read.

If you carefully do that, you will see that there are described the two alternatives.

The common view in English and French speaking countries - which is undisputed - is now stated the fourth time.
