For Meade the woman is always in the wrong, no matter what, because he hates women (He probably resents having to pretend to be attracted to them when he clearly is not.)

This guy torpedoed his own case, and seemed to be doing everything to make the judge mad at him. She was smirking because she wasn't having to do much to win....he was losing all by himself. Is he a narcissist...who knows, we only see a tiny bit of his life, and none of their marriage.
