Kinda funny. I just read about this yesterday, I would say most of them dont even know their capital was Liberated by bunch of Albanians and they have literally looking above their city on them. Its the Balkan irony.

The guy on monument is not historical figure, but represents and symbolize victory in Balkan war and WW1, and his name in Serbian is Победник (the victor)

OP, sorry but it's some extreme simplification of whole story (siege of Belgrade, part of First Serbian uprising), nonsense and some lies, it definitely suits to some reddit style "historians" and journalistics.

I just wonder how the authors of this bs related Bimbasa with Pobednik statue.

The guy on the first pic is Djordje Petrovic, Karadjordje leader of this rebellion and next to him is a picture of a sign of Kondina street. How's it related? Just a pile of unrelated stuff in every single line.

It's one of the most weird topics I ever seen here, even Shqips with their bizarre topics create em with more logical connection of some facts, no matter true or false ones.

Konda Bimbaša was a mercenary in Alija Gušanac's Dahije detachment in the Sanjak of Smederevo who switched sides to the Serb rebels during the First Serbian Uprising, proclaimed a hero for his efforts in the Siege of Belgrade (1806).
