You should respect your own elders, yes. This was always a value of traditional societies, and was a value in our society until relatively recently. And when it comes to behaviours and values Baby Boomers are better than Gen Zers on average, so there. Baby Boomers didn't 'start the fire' as the Billy Joel song says, they are inheritors of it the same as other generations. People always talk about the 60s cultural revolution, hippies etc, but forget boomers were mostly teenagers or younger then, brainwashed by older people the same as today. The 80s was much more of a cultural product of the Baby Boomers, which many Gen Zers ironically idealise.

I'm talking about the fact that older people are disrespected and their views dismissed on account of their age, e.g. the 'OK Boomer' meme. It should be the reverse, as it was traditionally. Needless to say a paedophile shouldn't be respected at any age.

Their views are not dismissed on account of age, but on account of being out-of-touch and complacent.
Trump was born in 1946, so was my stepdad, and they are/were far more based than the typical centre-right normie boomer.

Trump is special, and pulls most common-sense normie boomers to his side,
but the truth is that most boomers are too old and out-of-touch to be in positions of power.

The boomer political class (and its voters) is like a retirement home, like the late Soviet Union, trapped mentally, unable to adapt.

Ideally the country needs dynamic young leaders, with young families,
who are interested and invested in the future of their country,
not preoccupied with their nest egg and retirement plan.

Bold visionary leadership does not usually come from an old person.
The boomers' time has passed, they should focus on enjoying their retirement,
and voting for a Trump-like leader or staying out of the way.

This is the only graph that makes sense to me (the total is less than 100%).
And even here, the 5 mainstream parties only add up to 77% of the zoomer vote (or that is the zoomer turnout).

Graph you mention adds to 100%, but they excluded smaller parties and non legit votes.

For example I voted, but I crossed my list, so my vote will be counted as non legit.

But with only 12% of the zoomer vote, this party is already the past, appears to be a boomer party,
same with the Social Democrats.

The Christian party won only 8% of the national vote but 18% of the zoomer vote.
The Right party won only 9.6% of the national vote but 14.6% of the zoomer vote.
These parties will be the future of the right-wing zoomer vote.

I imagine that current zoomers only vote centre-right because their parents do,
and because they are from the comfortable class, NOT because of any strong conviction.
Thus centre-right zoomers can be captured by the other right parties in the future as they grow stronger.

My generation which is milennial is more conservative than that of our parents, but we are anomaly in European context because we were born during war and had formative years during huge economic crisis in late 00s/early 2010s.

Yes. Pity they didn't go togheder, they would get lot more mandates because we use D Hondt system, but egos on the right are too big and boomer centre-right party (HDZ) is effectively working to destroy any opposition right of them as they are their only real competitors.

Boomer parties are extremely unpopular amoung younger people (both HDZ and Social Democrats), I imagine only children of HDZ members and young people who directly had benefit from them like getting employment via nepotism and corruption could vote for them.
