Yeah true, although even in Argentina you just need to have the right amount of Caucasoidness to be regarded as white.

Those Venezuelans of levantine descent would be more or less at the same level as Syrians in looking European, but those of European descent (whites, castizos and to some extent harnizos) are way closer in looks and genetics to Europeans than Syrians.

Most levantine Latinos are heavily admixed by now anyways since they have been living in latm for a century and most were middle class Christians so it was easier for them to assimilate.

Everyone who is not dark skinned is considered white in the entire Latam, hence you must expect it to happen for levantines.

But aren't Syrians overall more Caucasoid than Venezuelans overall? In any event, although the majority of Syrians are too dark and Arabid to pass even in Turkey, all the same there is a notable majority with a generic Mediterranean look to probably at least the same percentage that can be found among Venezuelans (taking into account the whole population).

To me, you pass for European or you don't. It's the same argument I had with Lie-redo: he claimed that since mexicans has more euro input than peruvians then more mexicans can pass for europeans. I disagree: to me both can't pass in similar proportion.

How do you know that? There are lots of Lebanese-Venezuelans who are full Lebanese, or at least of mostly Lebanese descent, like there are also many Venezuelans of full Italian, Spanish and Portuguese descent, or if not full, still very European looking because they aren't heavily non-white mixed, like myself, that I'm like 87% European. Stop assuming that those communities in Venezuela are all supposed to be heavily mixed nowadays.
