Look I know there are light Afghan types, but these are the iranic nordic ones which occur naturally there. Except this guy is a strange Atlantid western euro type. Are you sure that he's full Afghan and not an anglo-afghan mix?

I don't know, you underestimate pashtuns imo. Many of kabulis in America who can pass as euro Americans are infact pashtuns. However just like everyone in Kabul, they become persianised and leave their native Pashto behind.

Many urbanites especially the ones who fled during the 80s and 90s look no different from Iranians. I can post examples however I would rather not as I don't like posting pictures of women etc.

What I meant is that he has the "western med" face. He looks british, the heavily mediterranean type. I notice iranians look more like med europeans, while afghans look often more like central, north and east european, when referring to the ones that can pass in Europe. Especially compared to pashtuns, who lacks distinct west iranic or med appearances. This Is why I said "iranian type"

That's because most rural afghans including tajiks like shamalis and pashtuns etc are more inbred, i.e. marrying within the same village/tribe etc. People from the city are less inbred and more heterogeneous. Also, environmental factors play a big part. It's not only Kabul but other major cities.

That is absolutely false. Firstly, if anything I find more med faces among pashtuns than shamali Tajiks, who tend to look more Caucasus/Turkic mixes. To say it's absent among pashtuns is a big claim when I've seen with my own eyes many med looking faces among pashtuns. You seem very narrow minded.
