As a heterosexual man, men won't be attractive to you, however, most males recognize there is still an inherent aesthetic quality to men, it just doesn't appeal to them in a romantic/sexual context. Men are not inherently ugly.

There is something , yes, but most men don't bother putting in any effort into their appearance. I think women are more attracted to men for the masculinity rather than the male body itself.

I never said anything of the kind. I said that homosexual feelings can often be misinterpreted by lack of male friendships. When I was in middle school and some of the kids called me a gay and I thought what if that is true? I realized it wasn't. Once I hung out around more boys those feelings of confusion went away. Most gay men were isolated boys who didn't have enough friendships with other males of the same age. That is what I posted and I distinctly remember.
