Partially Amerindian, but my Y-chromosome lived in NE Asia a long time ago from roughly 40k-30k yrs ago, so spent a lot of time over there. Perhaps that? I don't know. Seems long ago. Could be partially filtering in through Saami or Saami and some Nomadic groups coming through Tajik pieces I often get.

Oddly enough, my centromeres show large amounts of Native American on some calcs, even up to 27% on the DNA Genics report. Seems unusual, but there are some known Amerindian roots I have, and potentially some unknown through my Dad's Mom who had nearly all her ancestry coming to the USA in the 1600's. Genealogy shows she had several lines of Amerindians marrying in.

Another thought: could be via Yamnaya admixture also. I seem to have scored rather higher than normal % coming from East Eurasia on one of the Gedmatch calcs.
