Do you want to become influencer on social media?

What exactly does an influencer do? Do they promote products? I don't understand. I hear the word influencer many times but I don't understand. Someone showed me a cute hippie chick singing about hippie stuff on tiktok and apparently this person is an influencer but I don't understand how she makes money.

I have a woman English teacher acquaintance, and she has less than 10,000 followers on Instagram, as far as I remember, but even she gets a lot of products to advertise.

I agree.

I think that women inherently will follow influencers more than men do, with the exception of titties and ass types of "influencers". For example I get a lot of parenting content recommended to me - the influencers and followers both appear to be women who are in perpetual competition with other women. I've tried to get the algorithm to stop recommending it to me, but alas, nothing works - it knows I'm a parent and female, and thus it thinks I need 10,000 videos on the best way to be the best trendiest best mom ever. The health and fitness and any other type of influencer is mostly the same thing, women in competition with other women.

I think it's because women are inherently more judgmental about things that influencers tend to talk about, plus most women tend to care more about trends.

I dismiss paid promotions by youtubers outright. This is true even from youtubers I follow closely. I am not going to play Raid Shadow legends and I don't think Justin Whang! does either. I certainly don't need to purchase a small plot in Scotland just because Wavywebsearch was given one.
