Give me a freaking break! I just read a YouTube comment where some eunuch or prude said that it was "creepy and gross" for someone over 18 to date someone under 18. That's some BS that no honest man will support, and I'm not talking about dating children. It's no big deal if an 18-year-old dates a 16-year-old, and that's not just my inner "Mad Men" guy talking ("go make me a sandwich, Lisa").

I hear you, brother. I dated my friend's little sister when I was a college sophomore and she was a high school junior, but I was just two years older, even though I was three grades ahead (started kindergarten somewhat early), and her parents never thought twice about it.

The Right is insane on this issue now. I read comments from conservative *men* where they say "throw away the key" when a 20-year-old girl gets with a 16-year-old boy (a dream I never saw). My older neighbor always made semi-cougar statements, but I never dated an older woman. I doubt that I would need counseling and therapy if I did.

Both sides do that. With school shoutings, it's culture or guns, but they never mention psychotropic drugs, and we both know why the mainstream news outlets don't ("brought to you by Pfizer").

One thing is certain. They don't even know he meaning of the word. I've read comments in which someone called 40-year-old men "pedos" for dating or wedding 20-year-old women! The word is turning into the new "racist".

When I was in High School, some girls were dating guys in their early twenties, and most were favela girls, but this was somehow "normalized."
Those guys are called "cradle robbers", and most people see them as losers because they date inexperienced teenagers rather than women of their own age.
