I would say these 2 men also made a huge impact internationally.

But if I had to pick just one, it would be Eisenhower. Love him or hate him, he was the most powerful military commander of the 20th century and also a 2 term President of the most powerful country on Earth.
Like he promised he would do, if elected President, he would go to Korea and end the war, and that's exactly what he did. He was also the last American President to stand up to Israel, and he deported 2 to 3 million illegal aliens by force. We could use his leadership today.
You would never see cowards like W Bush or Obama out in the field with the troops having chow. This was the kind of man Eisenhower was. He cared about the man in uniform.
