They removed it? I thought communism collapsed on its own. It didn't need any input. Those two however fanaticised their stupid crowds with "rhetorics" like "tear down this wall"...

Kind of. The USSR collapsed because of economic problems that had been building up ever since Khrushchev came to power, and social problems that exploded with Gorbachev's reforms. It wasn't some kind of inherent flaw in Communism that caused it to collapse, but problems caused by individual leaders that were, for the most part, not taken care of.

Another huge factor in the collapse of the USSR (and thus the subsequent collapse of all of the Communist systems in Eastern Europe) was the sharp decline in oil prices which was orchestrated, I believe, by Reagan in co-operation with the Saudis and other large Middle-Eastern oil producers. Ironically, I think Saddam Hussein may have been one of them but I'm not sure on that.

King Albert I of Belgium, for his heroic defence of his country when almost all of Belgium was occupied and commanding his troops from the front line. Who could ever imagine any political leader putting themselves in combat like that today?

Generalissimo Franco, for defending Spain against the republicans. Without him, Spain may have been little more than a Soviet satellite state.

Carl Gustav Mannerheim for defeating the Finnish Bolsheviks and defending Finland from the Red Army against overwhelming odds.

Adolf Hitler. He will be known many centuries later. The movement he lead did lift German people for higher cause and purpose.

Most other leaders are not leaders but payed prostitutes. They are replaceable and forgettable.

Look what is happening in Germany now. One of the best people have lost will to life.
